The AIV's are a 3/4 inch Pipe that comes from the Rear of the Wheel Well, down to the Cat converter on each side.. it feeds air ONLY at idle.. the AIV's are in the chasis.. and if you do not have them hooked up ( it's a vacuum sig from a selinoid in the engine bay ) then Idle will be rich.. it only affects Idle.. nothing else.. If you get an ECU that does not use AIV's ( Usually ALL Tuned Proms) then it's a NON issue.. Like I said, I do not know when TT's stopped installing AIV's in the Chasis.. NA's were the end of the '92 Model Year.. '93 NA's did not have them.. and the TT's were a later year.. you can look at your Cats under the Drivers Feet, and see if you have 3/4 inch tube coming out to the Fender Well
That is good it not a TT Transplant.. as ALL the proper stuff should be there.. but the question now is if the AIV's are there and hooked up..
